Product Designer (UI/UX)

OVERVIEW

Vanti’s team is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team.

As an Experienced Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to design and deliver exceptional user experiences for our manufacturing and generative AI software solutions. 

You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, and optimizing user workflows.

We are open to considering candidates for a part-time position (80%).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead professional design process and vision.
• Take an active role in early planning, proactively identifying needs and opportunities and illustrating them to the product leadership with proposals.
• Use and maintain an existing design system to ensure consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
• Lead discovery with the product team, devise and execute a plan to gather learnings. 
• Deliver designs to your product and marketing teams taking feasibility into account. 
• Work closely with engineers while they implement the solution and support them with flexible solutions. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience (5+ years) working as a Product Designer, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing complex web-based applications or software products.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping using Figma.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in creating visually appealing icons and graphical assets to enhance the user interface design
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, to gather requirements, and incorporate feedback into the product design process.
