Sales Engineer

DESCRIPTION

As Vanti’s Senior Sales Engineer (SE) Together with our Sales Executives, Product Managers, and DS team,  you will ensure that our customers’ data analysis and forecasting needs are being properly addressed in accordance with their business and manufacturing goals. 

Being a Senior Sales Engineer, our customers, prospects, and partners rely on your expertise to help them address these needs when using our platform and services.

Your day to day job will include guiding prospects and customers with identifying, collecting and processing data towards successful implementation and use  integration, data processing/collection, aiding with recommendations and ensuring customer readiness for the implementation of our solutions.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and give presentations, demo our solution to customers, highlight the benefits of leveraging the Vanti platform, and explain Vanti’s competitive advantages vs. our competitors
  • Work with the customer to plan and execute Proof-of-Value use cases, allowing them to try our platform and train models with their own data. As part of this process, you will help define the success criteria and prove the value of Vanti to the customer.
  • Work with our Business and product teams to understand current and future goals, provide customer feedback, and help determine priorities for product evolution.
  • Assess strategies and roadmaps to ensure optimal application performance, and plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands/needs.
  • Recommend technology stacks to achieve goals, and partner with other technical teams (middleware, database, infrastructure, etc.) to create interface documents and mappings.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of experience in similar technical customer-facing positions (Sales Engineer, Presale, Solution Architect, TAM)
  • Experience in Data Science key concepts – supervised/unsupervised learning, confusion matrix, pre-processing, etc.
  • Experience with various data lakes, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent field.
  • Background in manufacturing, and more specifically, Industry 4.0
  • Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal skills

  • Experience with application cloud migrations
  • synchronous/asynchronous integration mechanisms, building scalable web APIs, and API management.
  • Located in the New York Region

 

Salary range : 200,000 – 250,000 USD OTE / yearly
